Frequently Asked Questions

  • Cala Concierge is a vacation concierge service designed to elevate your San Diego rental experience. We offer Stay Enhancements that are fully prepared before your arrival, so everything is ready for you the moment you step in. Additionally, we provide Local Experiences, including personalized itineraries packed with exciting activities and must-see spots in the San Diego area, ensuring a memorable and stress-free vacation.

  • Currently, we provide services exclusively within San Diego. 


    Interested in our services outside of San Diego? Contact us at support@calaconcierge.com to see if we can bring our services to your area.

  • We recommend booking at least two weeks before your arrival date to ensure availability.

  • Start by reviewing our Stay Enhancements and Local Experience offerings. When you're ready, click the ‘Book Now’ button on our website and submit your contact details. We’ll then send you a form to choose your services and provide vacation details. After submission, we’ll respond with a price quote and a customized itinerary.

  • No, we do not book your vacation rental. We provide concierge services for the vacation rental you’ve already selected. Once you've chosen your San Diego rental, you can reach out to us for Stay Enhancements and Local Experiences to elevate your stay!

  • You’ll provide us with the check-in instructions, and we’ll arrive once the rental is available! Setup typically takes one to two hours, depending on the Stay Enhancements you’ve chosen. You don’t need to be there, but feel free to drop off your bags while we set up. Note: If you’ve only requested Local Experiences, we won’t need access to your rental.

  • We cater to groups ranging from 2 to 20 people. If your group is larger than 20, please contact us with details about your stay, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Cala Concierge. Refund eligibility is based on the following schedule:

    • More than 14 days before your stay – Full refund of the total service cost.

    • 14 days to 48 hours before your stay – 50% refund of the total service cost.

    • Within 48 hours of your stay – No refund; the full amount will be charged.

    No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

    Cala Concierge reserves the right to make exceptions in cases of emergencies, at our sole discretion.
